Trio Solutions Inc., a Mount Pleasant marketing communications agency, will work nonstop for 24 hours to provide free advertising and marketing services to Lowcountry nonprofits during its 16th annual CreateAthon this fall.
The agency is taking applications from nonprofits through the end of July.
CreateAthon is a 24-hour creative marathon started by Riggs Partners in Columbia more than 20 years ago. Trio joined efforts in 2007 and has supported more than 65 nonprofits by providing in excess of $500,000 in pro bono services, the agency said in a news release. The agency donated more than $35,000 worth of efforts in 2021 alone. Trio will accept applications from Lowcountry-based nonprofits until 5 pm July 31. Applicants are required to fill out a written form and are encouraged to submit why a 60-second video on their organization should be selected. Applications can be found online.
“It is an honor and a privilege to support such amazing organizations,” Jenny Dennis, Trio’s president, said in the news release. “Our team is grateful for opportunities like CreateAthon that allow us to use our skills to give back to Lowcountry nonprofits who give so much to our communities each day.”
The CreateAthon will take place Oct. 27-28. Up to four nonprofits will be selected to participate this year.
An additional “People’s Choice” organization will also be chosen through Trio’s social media channels beginning Aug. 22 through 8 pm Aug. 28. The final People’s Choice winner, along with the four other selected organizations, will be announced on Aug. 29.
