LOS ANGELES – USC and Sprouts Farmers Market have announced a long-term commitment to sponsorship specific to women’s athletics through partnerships with USC and the Pac-12 Conference, along with other individual partnership deals.
“USC Athletics is very proud of the rich tradition of excellence of our Women of Troy athletic programs,” said Joyce Bell Limbrick, USC’s executive senior associate athletic director and senior woman administrator. “The Women of Troy have earned 36 team and 118 individual national championships and continue to excel in the classroom and beyond. As we celebrate and recognize the impact of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, USC Athletics is thrilled to partner with Sprouts Farmers Market to enhance and amplify our commitment to support our female student-athletes and sport programs.”
In addition to its investment in these partnerships, Sprouts will also support 50 individual Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deals with female student-athletes from multiple schools across the Pac-12.

The latest announcement coincides with June 23, the 50th anniversary of Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in schools and educational programs.

In January 2022, the NCAA kicked off its celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX and will continue to honor the historic landmark law throughout 2022 and into 2023.
